Employment Responsibilities
- Strong level of experience in grounds maintenance, construction, and facilities estimating and tendering
- Assisting and working with the Senior Estimator (SE) in all aspects of estimating as directed
- Review contract documents, drawings and specifications
- Maintain document control throughout the span of each tender in line with company procedures
- Producing accurate take-offs from various software applications including OST and CAD
- Compile and maintain the sub-contractor and supplier database
- Distribute RFQ's for tenders
- Accurately produce a variety of BOQ's for construction and grounds maintenance projects
- Creation of excel spreadsheets for submissions, where required
- Supporting the Business Co-ordinator in the submission of tenders and expressions of interest with the development of qualitative information, writing, preparation and formatting submissions
- Assisting the SE with project handover to department team, ongoing support and any clarification required in relation to the estimating during the project by the department
- Prior experience in grounds maintenance, estimating or scheduling an advantage.
